– Ex-police commander jailed for 30 years for murder of Oaxaca journalist

A court in Puerto Escondido convicted and sentenced Jorge Armando Santiago Martínez, the former commander of the Santiago de Jamiltepec municipal police, to 30 years in prison for shooting journalist Marcos Hernández Bautista multiple times on 21 January 2016.
