Police ‘summons’ journalist over a Facebook post

Moroto, 1st /September/2016; Police in Moroto District, North Eastern Uganda summoned a freelance journalist, Teba Arukol, over a Facebook post about the Karamajong cultural leaders. The journalist, who reported yesterday morning at Moroto Central Police Station, told Human Rights Network for Journalists-Uganda, the Criminal Intelligence Officer Moroto called ordering him to report to the station.
